Here is our girl Carly on a Sunday afternoon.
We are coming up on our 3 month anniversary of her "owning" us.
I would say she thinks she's home:)

She looks so content ....I'm sure she's a very happy girl at her forever home !

I will be honest in that Carly is not really a rescue, but more of a gal that needed rehoming.
She was being shown but having some really irregular heat cycles in that her owner/breeder was very concerned.
I was looking for another dobe after losing my beloved Kayla to bone cancer in May. I had taken in a foster/rescue with intentions of adopting but a bit over 24 hrs we were at ER and sadly letting her go to pyometra(sp) that the shelter had missed. They spayed her but obviously missed the raging infection:(
I was def not shy in letting folks know I was looking and this situation came up with Ms Carly. Of course I went thru being "ok'd" by folks who know me and also the breeder so were thrilled when we went to meet the little red head.
All was contingent in that she got along with Dallas, my other red head.
He's pretty mellow and as laid back as they come but Ms Carly also had a bit of a rep. for being a bully in her home:)
I fell in love with her in a quick 2 minutes and back to Md she came.
She absolutely is a bully and in charge but I was used to that with Kayla:)
Dallas was used to that with Kayla :)
Carly is doing wonderfully well and we are working towards her CGC and then towards more.
She IS home and we are thrilled to have her.
The sleeping photo is one we don;t see often with this busy girl.
