Cute letter to Santa

Dear Santa,

Here's a Christmas wish, to make my Christmas glow,
All I'd like for Christmas is simply Best In Show.

If that's too much, dear Santa, then my heart would loop-de-loop, If
You'd see fit to give me a placing in the Group.

In fact, I'd be quite satisfied, and not show too much greed,
If you'd be kind and generous, and give me Best of Breed.

Dear Santa, I'd be merry and really feel quite rich,
If you'd arrange a gift for me - Winners Dog or Bitch!

But I'd be joyful, Santa, and I'd dance the Highland Fling,
If my pup would just be happy and behave in the ring!!!

Yo Santa,

It’s 2009 and my 55th year
of making requests that you don’t seem to hear.
No one believed more naively then I,
in the promise you offered… which was all one big lie.

At eight t’was a doll, at nine was a bike,
at ten the pinto of Lil’ Joe’s that I liked.
You ignored what I asked for, you overgrown phony.
How hard would it ‘ve been to have brought me a pony?

Not one thing I wanted… year after year.
Even the blind see a clear pattern here.

I took the crap that you offered
with gratitude and grace,
But after 40 some years I just had to face
the one glaring truth … that I had to accept;
when it came to my presents, you were completely inept.

I never complained, I simply gave up…
went about my life… filled my own cup.
I’ve made up for things that you didn’t bring,
bought my own ponies and a 4 carat ring.

Stopped sending you letters for decades and more
Till I wanted something special, that doesn’t come from a store.
I don’t need the pony, have no use for the bike.
But for this one special wish, I’d have said, “Take a hike.”

Screw world peace, screw famine and drought,
I knew what I wanted, without one single doubt,
… and in a moment of weakness ...
I again sought you out.

The thing that I asked for didn’t cost a dime,
and wouldn’t have taken but a bit of your time.

I’ve now had enough, you big bag of gas,
