Well the verdict is Asthma. I have to quit smoking as the third hand smoke (I don't smoke in the house or car with her) is aggrevating the situation. The pulminologist doesn't think she has an allergy to dogs either so that is another huge weight off of my chest, she is too young to test for it though. Thank you everyone for keeping us in your prayers and thoughts!

You made my day Andy!! I was thinking about her earlier and wondering how things were going.

This may actually help to keep her dad around for a bit longer ! ;)

Give her a squeeze from us!

We just got in from feeding the horses... this is FANTASTIC news (though Asthma is nothing to sneeze at)... still this is so much better than other scenarios... and a huge plus... you now have a wonderful reason to give up the cancer sticks. Give Amelia a hug and kiss from me. :)

Andy that is great news... I am sure you and your wife are relieved. As a respiratory therapist and an asthma educator in a former life, I can tell you there are wonderful new meds out there that will help your beautiful daughter (if she needs them) live a normal, happy life. Now throw those cigarettes away!!

That is fantastic news Andy. As one that has lived with Asthma for most of my life....Depending on where you live it shouldn't be a big problem. I can't live in the east because it has too much moisture and molds. Here and AZ I live a normal life. New meds they have now make the issue much easier to deal with. Knowing how much you love your little girl, you will quit the other. You have a reason bigger then yourself to do so.

Hugs to your sweet little girl.
