We just want to welcome Paula and Don to DSNN!
Paula had been browsing the threads here on DSNN and read one of my posts that mentioned a couple of friends that we have in common, Carol and Dennis Collins.
They had gone to our website and sent a lovely email to us about the "kids".
We got to chatting and realized we were probably standing next to each other ring side not 24 hours ealier at the West Friendship, Maryland shows.
Proving once again how very small the Dog Show/Doberman world is! :)
I will allow them to fill everyone in on what is a lifetime of experience in dogs, Bull Mastiff , French Bull Dogs and Dobermans.

Thank you Cheryl. I have enjoyed watching the posts and really enjoyed visiting with Cheryl and Bob. We have been showing for over 35 years but haven't had a Doberman for about 28 years. We loved our girl and thought another Dobe could never fill her shoes. We now have three French Bulldogs and our new "baby" Hollywoods Dark Tide - "Rip". He is a Trotyl baby and his mom is Ch Hollywoods Haliewa. I'm attaching a few pictures of him. He's a happy boy and LOVES the snow. Coming up from Florida I thought he would be freezing, but so far so good. I wish we were enjoying the weather as much as he seems to.:D
Here are some pictures of our boy. We will have to try and get some more of him playing in the snow.

Lovely puppy, lots of angles to grow in to. :) IS the dam’s pedigree on Dobequest?

Elaine - I don't know because I am not familiar with Dobequest. It is on Hollywoods Dobermans website. As I told Cheryl, I am only used to using my computer for work and I haven't had time to just play with it for the things that I really enjoy! Paula

No problem... I will look there later tonight. :) (you did a great job posting the photos above) Btw, are you a member of the DPCA?

No - I am not yet a member of DPCA. I would like to join and also find a "local" club in my area. Not even sure which club that would be. I should have time to search for information this weekend since we won't be going anywhere. Paula:D

THe good news is that you do not need to be a member of the DPCA to use the search features of The DPCA DobeQuest search base... here is a link. http://www.dobequest.org/search.php
It would be great if your boy's pedigree was updated... ususally it's as simple as your breeder updated the progeny info. :)

WHere are you located? I think chapter club membership is a good thing to look into. I get lots of enjoyment (and work!) from membership in my local chapter club, the Metropolitan Baltimore Doberman Pinscher Club.
We hold an annual specialty, an annual sanctioned match and every couple years we host a Working Aptitude Evaluation (required every three years to maintain our DPCA membership). We meet monthly, have an awards dinner in October, a holiday party in December and a club picnic in July. The great part about MBDPC is the diversity of our membership - we have conformation, obedience, agility, and working dog participants in our club and it's just a wonderful way to learn about other disciplines.
Hope you have a good one near you :)

Thank you Athy. I am going to tell my friend about this website. She lives in the City of Baltimore and she has the red littermate to my puppy. She is really into training. She does obedience, agility, herding, and tracking, so I am sure she will want to work with this baby.
