It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Vanity Fair… http://www.vanityfair.com/magazine it is a writers magazine, I read it cover to cover most every month. Btw, I love the James Wolcott’s piece on Alex Baldwin - Too Big to Fail - in this month’s issue. Wolcott can write! http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/features/2010/03/alec-baldwin-201003
As much as I love the articles` in Vanity Fair, their ads are even better, some of the best out there. So, inspired by the creative ads that Michelle does, I was wondering if some of us with a teeny bit of computer savvy might start trying to duplicate ads from magazines like Vanity Fair… using photoshop and a bit of ingenuity. One thing I notice in high end ads is that less is more. Clean uncluttered simplicity is powerful. OF course, we have to start with clear sharp photos... and that's the stumbling block for most of us.
