Carly's 1 year anniversary has finally come today and she is having a party with her bestest 2 legged friends.
Its most fitting that the weather today is stormy with thunder and lightening expected as this is exactly how this girl arrived in our home:)
Hoping to get pics of her along with her friends Athy and Mariann.
Dallas, her brother of course will be here as well.

I agree. He is wild when it comes to camera's and something he had issues with before we adopted him. At least we managed to get the one of him before he found comfort under the bed :) Poor fella.
OTOH Ms Carly seems to lavish in the attention of someone taking her pic. She is quite the little ham.

Belated Happy Anniversary… looks like you all had a great time. When I see these events celebrating your love of this breed and your dogs, I can not help but be impressed by the strong bonds of fellowship you all enjoy. Given that so many aspects of owning/breeding/showing pure bred dogs tend to make us competitive with each other (which brings out the worst of the worst in us), your camaraderie is a lovely reflection on you all. :)

We always seem to enjoy our "events" celebrating our dobes and always enjoy the banter for hours on end (of course along with tons of fattening foods :) about our doberkids.
