The Metropolitan Baltimore Doberman Pinscher Club held our annual AKC Sanctioned B-OB Match, Rally Trial and CGC on Sunday September 12, 2010 at Landon Burns Park, Westminster MD. It was a wet, drizzly, rainy day but we still had a great time! Here are the results:

Best Puppy in Match: BellnHans Wannabe Irish owned by Madge Harrison, Vienna Va

Best Adult in Match: Andalin’s Dance on Fire CGC owned by Nicole Bailey, Pasadena MD

Highest Scoring Rally NA - Bell'Lavoros Pieno Velocita CGC owned by Erica Green, Waynesboro PA

Highest Scoring Rally NB –Catawba’s Something Special owned by Elaine McAvoy, Catonsville MD

Highest Scoring Rally AB - Griffin, CD RN CGC owned by Elaine McAvoy

Highest Scoring Rally EB -- NATCH-6/Versatility NATCH-2 Destiny's Drop Dead Red CDX RE AX AXJ XF WAC owned by Nicole Bailey

Highest Scoring Obedience.. Destiny's Jasmine In Our Life owned by Kathleen
Pace, Silver Spring MD

Five out of Six dogs earned their CGC certificates.

On a personal note, Capricia and I entered the 9-12 month puppy bitch class and we won in heavy competition (there was one other puppy bitch :D) Madge whupped our butts in the Best Puppy competition, which was sort of bittersweet as her boy is related to my girl I lost in December.

I wish we had gotten a few of Ms Prissy eating spice cake from my fork from Sat.
That girl is something else. She is just darling.

Yep, that's my baby girl! My 6 week handling class came in VERY handy as she sort of knew what was expected and I kind of knew what I should try to do. Although I thought I might have heart failure running around that ring - I was huffing and puffing for sure! Kudos to the guys and gals who do that on a regular basis with multiple dogs - impressive! I received lots of encouragement and advice from the sidelines, we had a lot of fun :)
