Logres’ Wahajama is on her way to Brenna

There are a few changes round here for Arthur and I, one of which is that Ms. Brenna Spencer now co-owns Logres’ Wahajama. Brenna also co-owns Ch. Logres’ Tungsten. Can’t say enough about the love and respect we have for Brenna, when she inquired about Wah, we are honored that she was interested in another of our dogs.

“Wah” pronounced Bah... or her full name, "Bah- ha-ya-ma" has been out with Kelly Marquis for a while now. Many of you in the North East have seen her. Some of you may know her by Mike Daly’s nickname for her “Obama.” Wah has 13 points and both majors... at 17 months. We love her, she is an absolute angel... and we feel that Brenna and Wah will be a match made in heaven.

Anyway, letting a dog go is always a bit difficult for me... even when it represents the beginning of a wonderful new chapter in the dog’s life. Flying a dog scares the bejeezus out of me... my heart really won’t start beating normally again until I get the call from Brenna that she has landed safely in Portland, Oregon.

SO, I thought it might be fun to track Wah’s progress across the US as she makes her way from Raleigh, Durham, through Salt Lake City and on to Portland, Oregon. Wah in on Delta Air Lines flight #1885 out of Raleigh, connecting in Salt Lake to flight #1139. I just got off with the airlines, they confirmed that she in on the plane and that the plane is in the air. She's make it, safe and sound. How do I know? I'll be pacing up and down in their office with Tungsten. 90 pounds of Doberman can be a bit persuasive. We just won't tell them that he just wants the jelly donuts...:D

I have never felt so blessed as when Elaine sent me Tungsten, and now, to send Wah...oh my goodness...I have the dream team! With, T, and Muse, and Wah....I have a family again!!!! And it's mostly because of Elaine and Arthur. I owe a debt of gratitude to them that is genuinely beyond words. Thank you Eraine and Arfur...thank you.:cool:

Okay, she's on the ground in Salt Lake City... now all they have to do is get her safely to the Portland flight... :o and then we're home free.

Just got off the phone with Brenna, boy is she on top of this... she is already at Delta Air Cargo... making sure that Wah makes this Salt Lake City to Portland connection... gotta love her devotion.:):):)

Sorry I am late posting this (Arthur and I have been so busy today, just got home ourselves). Wah arrived safely... was the first off the plane (thank you Brenna) and she, Tungsten and Brenna are on their way home. So all is well. :):)

And she's very happy knowing that she can be the queen bee. Moose immediately said, " I'm tough, but you're the boss of me..." then gave kisses. Wah is struttin and eatin and happy, except she doesn't appreciate Tungsten's over-jubilant welcome...I guess she was in season quite recently, or so T thinks. He'll figure it out. The girls will have him wrapped in no time at all.....:D Thank you again Elaine...she's beautiful inside and out....:o

What a beautiful story. How lucky both families are for each other. I would be blessed to co-own a Logres dog. Elaine gave me advice when I was purchasing a dog and educated me on several things, to take time out for someone she didn't even know,,, for that I am thankful.
Brenna, I love to hear your stories. What you do with T is so very special, keep up the good work. This is a great day for all! I can't wait to hear about the great things you will do as a family.

Brenna, huge congratulations on the addition of Wah to your family! We of the Logres family know what a fabulous home she will have. With the diligence and care you showed getting Tungsten to your home how could Wah not arrive safe and sound? Wonderful that Wah is already settling in and telling Tungsten just where his place now is<G>.

Wah fits right in with the gang! She and Moose have become inseparable, and she loves going on chariot races (I walk all three at the same time)!:eek:
