Back to Back Breed Wins & Almost Finished!

We had a great weekend up at Mt. Vernon, WA - with Back-to-Back Bests of Breed for doberman pinscher Dave - Ch. Royalwood D'Avator.

And, Max is closing in onhis championship - now needs only 1 last point! Tijac's Elite Model, RN, OA, OAJ - go Max!

Both are doberman pinschers - handled by myself, Cathy Ceely. I also co-bred and co-own Max.

The judges were: Al Holabach and William Bergum. And, it was hotter'n heck this weekend!

Yes, Dave is a Dagger son, Ch. Beaulane Hot Topic; and yes, he is littermate to Carmen's lovely Paris. Dave is owned by his breeders, Mike & Renee' Holth of Royalwood Dobermans in Washington State. There were 4 pups in the litter; 3 were shown; 3 finished - very quickly. I finished Dave at the 2006 DPCA Nationals Host club in Texas; Renee' finished Anna, from the bred-by class, and went on to win first award of merit at the 2006 Nationals, and BISS at the Puget Sound DPC this past March (Anna is a multiple breed winner, although she has never been campaigned as a special); and Carmen finished Parish quite handily - owner-handled.

Dave is a 3/4 sibling to my fawn bitch, Ch. Royalwood Color Me Blonde - and - he is the proud sire of a lovely litter of black pups out of Ch. Royalwood Passionate Color - Sadie. Sadie is a littermate to my Emma, and is one of 6 champions in a litter of 7 pups! Dave and Sadie's pups are 9 weeks old now.

Pics of Dave's pups - well, I'll have to 'nag' Michael for them - he accidently deleted the most recent photos; I don't think they've taken any since! Fran does have a lovely show girl and show boy still available, so, I'll see if we can't get some pics soon - might not be 'til this weekend when we have time to get to see 'em again!
