Yes the win today did finish Aussie. It was his 3rd major and I am very happy for his owners Barb and Ian Alexander from Australia. I believe the winners bitch is owned by Cheryl Green and Phil Martin out of the Stat - Thunderella breeding.

Also congratulations to Tracy and Titus, they are on a nice roll. From what I understand Vaako will be there later in the week and will hopefully pick up his last major to finish.

Yes... I will update this daily... in all there are five Logres dogs that either we bred or we co-own entered ... I may get up there tomorrow... but Classic Touch is coming in season... and SURPRISE so are one or two other bitches here at home :o

I was on the phone with Phil right after the dog judging... what a thrill if Leesa however he spells her name... went WB!!! That would be fantastic!!!:) Edited to add, I am on the phone with Phil now... he's ordering a Route 44 diet Dr. Pepper... Leesa went WB and BOS!!! Phil says she showed beautifully.

Here are some photos of Phil (on his 48th birthday) with his neices and Stat, T, Envy and Leesa. As you can see, the guy has really let himself go. :rolleyes: And those poor dogs, having to live in conditions like that... someone should complain :p oh wait, they already did :rolleyes: The comment was something like "He's no spring chicken." At 48, he looks pretty damn fine to me.

Ron, Congratulations to the Trotyl kids doing so well... Aussie is what, Trotyl's 10th champion so far... you and Jim must be very proud, and rightly so. :)

Thanks Elaine, Jim and I are very proud of what Trotyl has been producing so far. He seems to have clicked with different types of bitches and different pedigrees which is nice. Aussie was Trotyl's 6th American champion and I believe he has 4 in Canada also. He has several puppies that are really close to finishing as you know so hopefully that count will be going up soon. He should have a lot of nice puppies hitting the show ring later this year and should be very well represented at the National. Jim and I are both very appreciative of what you and Arthur have done to help promote Trotyl.

Of course you are correct, Leesa is 11 months in this photo. The photo was in a file labeled 13 weeks, but she is clearly not 13 weeks in the photo.:)

Btw, Leesa is the bitch that Halla and I competed against in the Bred-by on the Tarheel back in March. http://dogshownewsnetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59 So, do you think I can claim that since Halla won that day.. months ago, that Halla gets these two majors? :D

Titus and I are home now, we were only entered the first two days, due to other plans....Anyway, we had a great time, Titus showed like a dream (as always)...He's my perfect child! The entry at Salem is very nice, alot of beautiful dogs and great handlers. Good luck to Vaako and the girls if they go.

Because of some Thimbleheaded Gerkins in Ohio, I have a crushing burden here... otherwise we'd be there with the girls... it's a lot of entry fees to be going down the drain. :(:(:( and I was really looking going in the ring in that competition with Lil Claire.:D and Halla. Btw, Lil' Claire's attitude about showing hasn't changed much from her feelings on the day the middle photo was taken, "He's touching my butt again. This really sucks!"

Hey everyone! Bob and I just want to thank all of you for the Congratulations on Vaako finishing!

We couldn't be happier or any prouder of our boy!!

Elaine and Arthur....Thank you both so much for giving us the chance to share our lives with this very beautiful and special dog. He is very much loved and cherished. We know exactly how lucky we are to have him in our lives. He brings such great joy to our lives on a daily basis. Give his mom, Brentina a big kiss and hug from us and tell her she done good!

Ron....Thank you for your support and friendship from the begining. Trotyl is a wonderful dog! We are proud to have one of his lovely sons in our lives. Please let Jim know we said thank you.

Vaako wanted to send a big kiss and high paw to his "Aunt Phyllis"....she was his pal and teacher in handling class and has just loved him from the start. I remember the day she cried at Lehigh when he won his class!! Adorable!

Last but most certianly not least, thank you to Diego and Eve Garcia. The photo on Elaine and Arthur's website pretty much says it all about the man and his bond with Vaako. The two of them share something very special.
Vaako just adores him and Eve.
Diego and Eve have made dog showing what is should be for us and Vaako, just an absolute blast!!
