Metropolitan Baltimore Doberman Pinscher Club Fall Match!

Hello everyone! The Metropolitan Baltimore Doberman Pinscher Club (MBDPC) will be holding our annual Fall AKC B-OB match and AKC Rally Match on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2008!

This year, our match will be held in a brand new location: Langdon C Burns Park in Westminster, MD. We'll be offering conformation classes (open to Dobermans only - juniors, puppies and adults), obedience classes (open to Dobermans only - includes pre-novice and veterans), rally obedience (open to ALL BREEDS), and Canine Good Citizen testing (open to all breeds, cost is $12)! Our classes are $6.00 for the first entry, $4.00 for each additional entry of the same dog. NO CHARGE for Junior Handling if dog is entered in another class; otherwise, entry fee is $5.00. Ribbons and/or prizes for winners.

In spite of a rainy day today, the weather man is calling for a lovely day tomorrow, the day of the annual Metropolitan Baltimore Doberman Pinscher Club match! The match will be held in a new location this year, the Langdon C Burns Park in Westminster, MD (the street address is 700 Gist Rd, Westminster, MD).

We're offering quite a few classes in conformation, obedience, and rally -- not to mention a CGC. We'l start taking entries at 8:15, judging for obedience begins at 9:30, for conformation at 1:00. Here is a link to our match flyer:

MBDPC had a WONDERFUL match today - we had a new location, it is gorgeous! A beautiful field with a stand of mature pine trees providing shade and a refreshing breeze coming off a huge pond right next to the pavilion.

We had a great turnout and I believe everyone enjoyed themselves. Enclosed is a photo of my stepdaughter showing our boy DAR&E's Cap'n Jack Sparrow (Jack!) in Pre-Novice Obedience. We all had a super day!

The Metropolitan Baltimore Doberman Pinscher Club, Inc. held it's 32nd
AKC Sanctioned B match, Obedience Trial, Rally Trial and CGC test on
Sunday September 7th in Westminster MD.

We had a great entry of 55 dogs!!

10 tried for the CGC and we had 16 entries in Rally.
