We have a few new members to DSNN...

Victoria Hall ~ Victoria is the gal doing the Vwd Clinic and we got a chance to speak recently when I ordered a kit for Almé... we talked for hours... she is great fun and will be a wonderful addition here, in part because she focuses on a different aspect of our wonderful breed. I loved her sense of humor and boy does she have a story or two to tell. Here is her website. www.vicaral-dobermans.com

Diane Varner ~ lives in NC, has Dachshunds and is considering Halla... she would like to owner handle... I encouraged her to take her time... and get to know us all. At the very least, we can be supportive of ANYONE brave enough to step into the Dobe ring to owner handle. Who knows, maybe E2 can teach her the Gravelle Method. This is Diane's website http://cottagek9s.com/about.html

I know you guys will make these new members feel welcome. :)

I, too, spoke with Victoria! How fun. Victoria, you fit right in! And Diane, Halla is quite the find. SHe's a gorgeous bitch, and the thought that Elaine is even considering placing her with you is an honour! I have two Logres kids, and they are the light of my life.
Welcome to our family!:D

I just wrote a long reply and went to do a spell check and it ate my message! So, forget my spelling and please accept my HELLO to you all!

I have waited 10 years to make contact with a Doberman breeder for a new girl in my life. I've hung outside the Doberman show rings for 15 years watching and waiting. Finally, after much researching and pondering I made ONE contact with ONE breeder -- got to start at the top, right?

HOLY SMOKE ~ ~ ~ I CONTACTED ELAINE!

I'm looking for a great, all around dog, one that will tolerate the Dachshunds weaving in, under and around her legs, stealing her toys, one that enjoys being a fire dog in the winter and go on day hikes with me in the mountains in the summer and fall. As a bonus would be a gal that enjoys road trips and will allow me to take her into the show ring. Quite frankly, her worth to me and the breed is not dependent upon whether or not she wins, I'm happy on an 'also ran' when it comes to the ribbons. Most important, however, is that when we walk out of the ring together, the other exhibitors in the ring and owners outside the ring will remark, 'there goes two high class bitches!' LOL :)

Peace Out!
Diane

Welcome Victoria and Diane!!!!

Victoria I will be asking you a lot of questions concerning schutzhund and the like!!!

Diane, when you do acquire a Doberman please get video footage of Doberman playing with the Dachshunds. It always amazes me that the little ones show no fear.
