Doberman Models

Not sure what category to put this under...

But if you check out the Men's 2008 fall ad campaign for Dolce and Gabbana -- I know all you dog show folks keep up w/ the latest fashions (VBG) - our two Dobermans were used as the models in the ads you will see in magazines this fall like GQ, Best Life and others.

The dogs used in the ads were Eastwick's Obvious Rodeo, OA, AXJ (RODEO)and Eastwick's Rush Monster (RUSH.)

They belong to my best friend Bonnie Rutkowski -- I bred them and co-own them. The company called looking for some "well behaved Dobermans," and I looked around my house, realized I had a bunch of "heathens," and Bonnie came through. She had to spend an evening in NYC with the dogs and the models. I stayed home with the bad dogs.

There is also a doberman in a car commercial who is seen through the grill of the car barking etc. The car then rev's its engine and the dog backs off. I wonder who the dog is.

Dolce and Gabbana always seem to have great ads but these are really super! I love the 'film noir' look... the Dobes fit right in. Nice job Sophia and Bonnie.
