View Full Version : Something for the non sporting group area
Thought it would be nice to complete the groups on this forum with a cute pic. I co-own the young Chow on the far left of this photo. We call him the walking head! ( Bruiser) Chows are an interesting breed!

My mother owned a Chow when she was a very young girl and she swears that he was the smartest and most loyal dog she's ever owned. She has owned multiple GSDs, a Collie, a Schnauzer, a JRT and all kinds of mixed breeds and she currently owns two red Dobie mix girls.
But her Chow is her fondest memory :)
I adore the Chows, they are intelligent, loyal, and clean. They hate messes! Their coats require a lot of care and I am way too busy to consider all that, done right, so co owning was and is a fantastic solution! The smooth Chows are another story, and I am waiting to see the right pup from the same family that would fit in here. When the chow visit here happens, I can really see the draw to and love of the breed.

I was bitten by a chow once. She was very mean. I hold no grudge against the breed at all though. I came across many Chows while reading gas meters and they were pleasant. Cockers on the other hand......They were relentless in spoiling my day.
