First of all...GO SOBE!!!!!! What a weekend for Phillmar dogs...
Cayenne was back in the ring after taking the summer off. He took BOB over a Top 20 bitch and we were so proud of him. He is growing up finally.... Tough to be a red boy.....;);)

Cayenne was 3 the 24th of April.... Just this summer I started to see changes in him... He was always a terrible eater...Eats normal now and his handlers picked that up right away this trip and were grateful. His mind and attention on his handlers were outstanding. Caye is a momma's boy big time.
Alfonso said his trips in the ring with him were fun and effortless this weekend. Who knows why???? We will take it though.

OK it sounds like he is related to Quincy. Q will be 3 in Dec 09. He too has decided to be a good eater one day and not the next. He has me well trained though, as I have taken to making huge pots of chicken and broth and freezing it to have for his kibble. :D
He also has 22 weeks of obedience, knows every command and does them when he feels like it.
Another 14 months, Oy Vay.
I'm thinking Alme just might smarten up this red boy. He loves the girls (and is also a Mama's boy).
Thanks Julie

Elaine 2,
I did the chicken, I did the stew and every thing that was suggested to me. Now I just throw two pot roasts in the crockpot with lots of garlic, minced dried Garlic. I remove the roasts, put the broth in containers and freeze. He loves just the broth on his food, just a little. I shred and chop the meat and freeze. He gets little goodies but thinks its great.
I think the red boys are all alike...They are cute they know it and they love mom cause she caters to them....
Caye has trained obedience since he was 4 months old. With short times of not doing it. Sniffing in the ring gets in the way...Then there are the long sits and downs...UGH!!!!! He is solid except when he is in the ring. I don't trust him not to visit the girls. He is trained through open and working on utility... Just have to make him think it is just his weekly training.
Red boys are red boys and we just have to enjoy them...
Judie
