I was watching the Animal Planet TV show and saw that the Miami Humane Society rescued two approx 12 week Doberman puppies.
They were litter mates. One was a black male and the other was a red male.
The puppies had no water and the black male died because they had no water.
These puppies had their ears cropped with very poor after care. They had incorrectly put on tape and had Elizabethan collars on. Their ears were raw sore.
Anyway, the black male puppy lie dead with flies all over him in the back yard due to lack of water.
Has anyone seen this film of which I speak? Shame on this breeder or the one who placed these puppies in the home.
The Animal Planet person who rescued these puppies didn't seem happy about all puppies having an ear crop. This is real negative P.R. for us.
It was just so striking to see puppies of our lovely breed neglected so severely. This is why we need a real good rescue component going on.
Its hard to forget this thin male puppy lieing with flies all over him dead in the back yard due to lack of water. It looked like he had been dead at least one day. :(

I watched it as well. So very very sad. Its so hard to see some of this stuff.
The saving grace was seeing the red boy in a happy home and being spoiled to heck and back at the very end.

I saw it as well. Heartbreaking to say the least.!! That episode has been on a couple times. I saw it for the first time last year. So it is a rerun, but sickening just the same. And the poor baby that died, looked to have a pretty little head, on him.So could he have had "good" breeding in his soul! And the fact that the people would actually put a E collar on and still leave him to die a horrible death! What pitiful, sick human beings, will do to helpless, dependent baby animals, imagine what they would do to other humans. It is really scary that mentally depraived people are walking around our society and we'd pass them on the street and say hello, because they LOOK normal on the outside. But rotting with wormy hearts, from the inside!!!!
