Rain Coat

Hey everyone!

So the weather is beginning to change and I was wondering what rain/warm coats you all use for your Dobermans? Please let me know!

We don't use anything... but I can tell you, I don't think it would make a difference. Our Dobermans must think they’ll melt in the rain… they absolutely put on the brakes about going outside if it’s raining. They go from 90 miles an hour like the commercial for DETROL® “Gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now, let me out there” to a dead stop and retreat, “Hey, it’s raining, ain’t no way I’m going out there, I can hold it.” :o:D

My two "kids" are like Elaines when it comes to the rain............will hold it forever but the snow is different.
My red diva sure aint trying to go out but Dallas will play:)

I like the way they fit as Dallas is on the long side but these do cover his rear and adjust nicely.
Kayla is slightly more compact and hers fits well also.
I have been very pleased and they wash well and are very durable.
It was def a bit chilly this am in Md so time to get their coats out and ready for colder weather.

Those look like really nice coats... and they are made with darts, so they fit the contours of the dogs' body... a bit like a smaller version of horse blanket. They look like some coats we saw at a tack store in Potomac, MD… which I sort of remember was called The Surrey. Very nice. :)

Yes, very much like the horse blankets. They are fleece lined too which help with cold Maryland winters.
Everything is adjustable strap wise so they fit very well.
Dallas always manages to get dirty so washable for him was a must.
