An update on what the heck is going on 'round here.

As many of you know, E2 has been her for a week... gotta tell you, she is so wonderful to have around, I have proposed, and I think I have a shot at this. :p Weather for E2 back home is about 25 – 20 degrees with the wind chill factor… so she may accept. Tina, Sheila, Brenna, Lili and Betty can be the brides maids, Q can be the ring bearer … :D

Okay, maybe not, but E2 is fantastic to have around.

I’ve been a bit under the weather recently, since just after E2 arrived… :( not sure what it was, but probably something stress related. I intend to get to a doctor… just as soon as I run out of excuses not to go. :o Anyway, whatever is was really wiped me out for a few days… and then reared it’s head again yesterday. You all may have noticed I am just not firing at 100% lately. So E2 and I haven’t done much of anything except some light shopping: bought a couch, a rug and every new floor cleaning appliance on the market. We tore down part of a wall, so we have plaster board all over the place. E2 has met some of the locals, the Fabulous Julie, my life-line J.D. Blue, the Infamous Tyler and Kevin "call me Country" McCoy. (We still have to run down and meet Pete at the feed store and his chicken). E2 has driven the lawn mower and didn’t get it anywhere near the pond, the mud or a tree stump. She and I put together a 1000 piece puzzle (Christmas theme). We have a bit more shopping to do: still have to buy a new heat pump and cooling system and have it installed (will need a bit of research before I make the final decision)… and I need to hire someone to run my water line from the street to the house, and then remodel the rest of the house… after that we hope to have time to get all liquored up grab the shot gun and go joy riding around town before Brenna arrives at the end of the month. :D

Our club is putting on an Agility Match with a cookout and Blue Grass band this Saturday… if the weather here cooperates we will get photos to post… should be fun. Other than that, E2 has settled in, we are a bunch of ol' fuddie duddies, sort of like an old married couple. Eeek! :p

I hear ya on not feeling well. My upper wisdom tooth socket is now infected I am afraid. It seems to have moved into my sinus cavity. I feel horrible. My wife is picking up my script of antibiotics as we speak. Hopefully this will knock the infection on its ass before I end up in the hospital. I also suffer from self diagnosed sleep apnea. High blood pressure at the age of 29, fatigue, depression, etc. Yeah.....I need to address this.

But on a positive note, I am still employed, have a daughter I adore, a wife that cares, and crazy dogs that insist on licking my face when I am napping on the couch.

E1, when you are done with E2 I have a lot of things that must be done. The leaves need mulched, garage door needs reworked, run new plumbing to the spigots, fix my truck's breaks, put a new starter on the mower, oh and play fetch with Eva about 20 times a day.:D The rest I can handle. You know whenever you can make the time to stop by.

Oh Andy, this has gone on too long now. There is no reason for you to be in pain, there is no reason you should still be dealing with an infection. You really need to get that infection cleared up immediately, which means you need to stay in close contact with your doctor, so that he/she knows how you are responding to your antibiotics. I’d be right over with my “Doctors Bag” but 1. I’m not a doctor and 2. I don’t have a bag. So, go to your doctor and keep going until this tooth thing is completely resolved.

As for “Elaine’s Demolition, Construction and Home Decorating”… it’s going out of business today; I’m exhausted so it’s over… and, besides, we haven’t had a moment to play with the dogs.

As an side, yesterday E2 and I toured a lot full of manufactured homes. We saw about 20 models, but there were many more we were too tired to go through. Surprisingly some of them are rather nice. You can get about 2500 sq ft of completely finished living space for about $200,000.00, with 10 ft ceilings (with recessed lighting and cove details), open floor plans, sunken tubs, walk in closets, two and even three stories, wide wrap around porches, all sorts of bells and whistles. E2 and Tom can buy some adjoining acreage and they can move next door, spend the winter’s here and the summers up on the lake in Ontario. We can set up a third home for Sheila... and have a little Doberman Colony right here in NC. :):D

Anyway, at this time of year I switch to “Elaine’s Home Baking and Christmas Crafts.” I’m going for the, “Christmas at the Mall” theme in my home.
