I wanted to let you know the dobe on our website Gretta

that caught your eye with her sad story, sadly lost her battle to cardio yesterday.
She left in the loving arms of her foster mom. Her best friend in the world was the 3 year old little boy in the home and vice versa.
Gretta was a dog that at least spent her last days loved, fed, and hugged and kissed daily.
She touched alot of folks with her gentle sweet nature.
I am sure she was greeted by so many who have left us.

I just saw this... I am so sorry to hear that she passed on, but what a blessing that she found her way to a place where she was loved. She died in the arms of someone who loved her... thank god she did not pass out of this world frightened, alone and ignored. Bless all of you in rescue who put your lives on hold to reach out and care for these wonderful dogs. We are all indebted to you.
