Each year DAR&E tries to give back to all the shelters we have worked with thru out the year by letting them know how much we appreciate their work.
I cannot imagine their stress by dealing with many many dogs on a daily basis and the heartache of knowing that so many dogs who enter their front doors will never be adopted. They deal with the sick, the old and just simply unwanted on a huge scale.
Having all 4 of my rescued dobes come to DAR&E via shelter, I am extremely thankful for all they do.
DAR&E each year delivers holiday baskets consisting of cookies, cakes, candy, etc etc. and this is such a very simple way to brighten their day if just for a short while.
If you have a shelter close to you, even just a card can let them know we appreciate all their hard work.
The workers are absolutely so thankful.
