Hello Everyone,
Way back in August of this year I lost the love of a life to a careless Fed Ex driver who came up my driveway and killed UKC CH Holderpark Pie's Rylan Paul...a beautiful doberman that was more than just a child to me.
In the painful months following his death, there were several guardian angels who kept me breathing, forced me to try to move on when I didn't want to, and reminded me that life will continue without Rylan. My parents, husband, friends, and co-workers and several folks in the dobie world, including many on this website kept me going.
There has also been a few guardian angels who made sure life would be complete again with the addition of another male doberman who was destined to be a Mama's Boy.
Judie Walter assured me that it was the right thing to do get another doberman and she provided the support that made me realize that we can continue to live even with the loss of a child (although we do not continue very easily, but we learn to live with the loss).
Ironically, Linda Freese in Phoenix had just bred her bitch, Lexi, to Philip Martin's Sobe Monster. Linda and I talked and she said my name was on a black male from this litter, but there was only a red male.
Through her kindness, Linda had contacted Philip about me getting a puppy from his litter that was due mid September.
Philip Martin has been kind enough to allow me to have pick male from his litter. Not only did he give me pick male, he gave me a whole new realization that there can be two loves in one life! (sorry fellas, my heart belongs to the dogs!) Philip has been very supportive and gave me such an appreciation of what a breeder should go through with a litter. An amazing experience to say the least....
The entire litter of 10 is just stunning and the choice for pick male was not an easy one, but Philmar Pie's Monster Murphyella (call name Traysen) is now home and has made a quick transformation from "light green male" to Mama's Boy!
Thank You, Judie, Linda, and Philip.....could not have made it the last three months without your help. Traysen and I will do you proud....but then again, it will be very easy for him!
Attached is a casual pic ....one with Grandma and Grandpa...if I can put him down long enough I will take some pics with him stacked and post them...!
