It is with a sad heart that I announce the passing of top 20 and Ch HolderParks Elsa. We will never know what happened but it was a bad day for Don. Elsa was just finishing up her season and she and girls were in their part of the house with their own run. Don's male was with him in the main house. The dogs were to be reunited in the next day or two. When he checked on the girls before bed that were all tucked in and fine. When he got up the next morning Elsa was gone. She got out of the house and opened the gate to the run.... She had never done anything like that before, who knows if she had help. She came for Don when he called and he could tell something was wrong. She was bloated. Rushed her right to the vet and to the surgeon but she didn't make it. Don has never dealt with this before and he was not sure if it was because of something she ate or got into since she was fine before. No matter what, she gone and nothing can bring her back. She was one of the few Doberman's that was a "true Doberman". She had the right temperament and produced very nice pups through selective breeding. I'm grateful to have one of her pups. She passed on all the good stuff to her kids.
Sleep well sweet Elsa....You have left way too soon.
