Meant to post yesterday… but things are popping ‘round here…

Happy Birthday to Vaako, Contender, Wei, Wah, Q, Titus, and Warkant. They all turned two yesterday. Hard to believe it's been two years. This litter (and the wonderful people we've met because of them) has been one of the great joys of our lives. There are a few litter plans in the works for at least three of these guys… and a few other plans as well... so in the weeks ahead we’ll probably be hearing a lot more about all of them. :)

You’re right… and I have no excuse… so here it is. This litter meant something to Arthur and I… it was important on many many levels, reflecting a total commitment of not only Arthur and I, but of the wonderful people who came into our lives because of these seven puppies. Life flows forward, and in December of 2008 I struggled a bit with how to celebrate the past two years. In the end I reconnected to the beauty and joy of the puppies themselves. Life goes forward...

Yes, that is Warkant to the far right... here are a few others taken that day… and two others, one taken when E2 was here as a comparison of his head then and now. And a reminder, whatever else you do in life.. take photos. In hindsight, these photos of Warkant seem precise to me now. Things is, we have today… and the visual images from today… we do not always have tomorrow. Keep a camera handy and take photos.

They were such little peas.......now these beautiful and poised dogs.
