Please let me know ahead of time next year. I would have loved to go this year. They look great and I love all the different carriages. Do you have one? I am sure you two can do it....

Absolutely, we'll let you know for next year. The parade kind of snuck up on me this year. It's something that is always on "the list" of fun things... but when Denise called and said, "It's today" it took me by surprise. So, we'll plan for next year for sure. :)

Where we used to live we'd have the four-in-hands drive by from time to time... always impressive... when it's a team of Freisians they really shake the ground. I want to do this next year... or the following year... I just need E2 to commit. :p

We will start training in April. Maybe we can have an Easter parade for practice. Tom can take the pictures. :eek:

You are such a goon. :D Why not just try for a team of Vaako, Q, Warkant and Tungsten... and one of our gals in season. The parade watchers would love that spectacle. :eek::D:p

My "plan" is to get with one of the great trainers here in this area... start with Denali... and go from there. E2 can drive... she can learn when she comes down in March. I want to decorate the carriage... I figure I've got to do something with these Christmas decorations that have been up since October of 2005 :eek: Btw, we need to include Lili in this... I'll bet she's great at decorating. :)

And I think we can add at least one Dobe... maybe Brentina 'cause she is sort of the unofficial reason for this, or Cera, 'cause she's our angel. :)

Step one of THE PLAN is complete... I have been in contact with our trainer... hope to touch base soon... to see if Denali is suitable for driving. So E2 or Jan had better be boning up on their driving skills. I've moved on to Step Two... I've got the hot glue gun warming up... ready to decorate the carriage... oh wait, we need a carriage... give me a minute

okay, here are some chioces... keep in mind that Denali is a liver chestnut and white... so I think hunter green is good... and it goes with the Christmas theme. I love the look of the Basket Phaeton, which is only a drawing.

a muzzle, some valium, and some medicinal (for human nerves) alcohol. And, to stay with that special Christmas Spirit, if we put a bitch in season in the herd, I have a feeling that we will have something big and red showing on the the boys, and it ISN'T a big red nose....:eek::p It's a little further back and under....

The Basket Phaeton...my vote for the carriage.
If we were all going to VT...it would be hands down the sleigh!! What fun!
