View Full Version : Jack and the Snow
Poor little Jack. Forced out into the bitter cold and snow to do his bizness... We've got about 6" of snow up here, bitter cold winds. But I made Jack go out there to do his potty work and he nearly froze to death! At least that's what he said....
Here he is, pressed up against the warm stove where a pot of chicken soup is simmering, he's literally asleep sitting up. Note the drool string. This is one sad little boy :)

Jack is the product of West Virginia BYB'er, not much in the way of well bred looks but he does give us a lot of laughs with his silly self :D

Making that boy go outside in the horrendous conditions is just wrong:)
I bet all would be righted in his wronged world if you shared a bit of that warm chicken soup with him.
He does look a bit pathetic in his frozen state.

too funny!
my dobers do their after-snow warming by walking behind the wood stove; when they get warm enuf they come rocketing out :D
nothing worse than freezing your nubby in the snow when takin care of biz... we've had 3' snowfalls at times, and I take pity on 'em & shovel potty paths after I get the deck & sidewalk cleared.

great photo... :D
Jack is like the little kid that absolutely will not give up and go to sleep - my grandmother would have said that he "just doesn't want to miss a fart". Jack will literally fall asleep standing up, sitting up, he'll bonk his head on the floor because he'll fall off to sleep lying down.
He does have his sexy moments too. Here's a particularly glamorous shot of my poster boy:

Oh yeah. That's my boy.... Oh and you see that chewed edge of the rug behind him? That was my boy too!

I can't believe how time has flown and Jack all grown up.
I remember a pretty darn angry father calling DAR&E because his college bound son had brought home a 6-7 week old dobe puppy and was heading off to college. Dad was a little peeved to say the least.
Jack was so little and skinny when he was brought to you.
Thank goodness Dad did the right thing by this boy.
Here he is now. All grown up.
