Subject: please help
Good morning everybody:
I would like to ask you to please send a quick email to the following 2 email addresses:
President: Marilyn Mauck marilynmauck@aol.com
Secretary: Sandie Friend andie1205@earthlink.net
To please let them know that you will NOT show your dog at the June 20/21, 2009 show if they will have a DAR&E booth on the show ground.
For your information:
Here is a link with some of the past history.
http://www.cyberdobes.com/hallofshame.shtml
DAR&E has been removed from the Doberman Pinscher Club of America as a recognized rescue organization.
DAR&E'S present activity many exhibitors find even more offensive, than their past history.
Please help to make Virginia Kennel Club of Richmond realize that a DAR&E Booth would make there entries suffer from this.
Thank you kindly
Silke

The Noxious Influence of Cyberdobes
Silke Satzinger is the President of the Cavalier Doberman Pinscher Club. I am absolutely appalled that an Officer of sanctioned local Doberman club would actively seek to destroy an AKC event by encouraging people to boycott the entry, and even more appalled that she grounds her noxious request in a link to some gossip on Cyberdobes. (see post above).
We all know that entries at shows have been down … we need to be working to reverse that trend. Instead, here we have this Satzinger woman who is beating a dead horse into the ground, trying to exact some measure of revenge from Athy and DAR&E because Alla was convicted. Satzinger's request is petty, it asks that we side with a convicted felon, it stands reality on its ear, it hurts AKC and all of us. The fact is that Alla was wrong from day one, Stella was NEVER abused, there was NEVER a credible reason to have stolen Stella, Alla was convicted by a jury of 12 reasonable people who heard Alla’s version of why she stole Stella and voted unanimously for conviction and imposed the maximum monetary fine allowed by law. Alla McGeary is not martyr, she is a convicted felon, who stole a dog and then by her own admission had numerous chances to end this, but her ego would not allow it. Alla is no hero, not by any measure.
Ms. Silke’s actions here are as clear an instance of Conduct Prejudicial to the Sport as I have ever seen. What could be more prejudicial to the sport (an AKC sanctioned event) than actively working to destroy the entry at a show? The fact that she is the President of a Breed Club and cites - of all things - the garbage on Cyberdobes - reflects more than just her ignorance of the AKC’s Rule and Regulations. Ms. Satzinger’s request reflects an utter disregard for the recent juries’ verdict and demonstrates the toxic destructive power of a gossip monger gone unchecked.
We recently received a request from MBF to participate in a survey of what is wrong with Dog Shows… asking what we thought could be done to encourage more entries at shows. I was thinking, of all the problems facing AKC today one is this, the sport itself is too easily manipulated by gossip mongers who have nothing at all at stake in the health of the sport. The influence of these gossip mongers is toxic to the sport. Consider that Cheri McNealy - who drives Cyberdobes - does not even own a Doberman, she does not exhibit, does not handle, does not breed, could never even remotely qualify as an AKC judge, yet she has created more havoc, ugliness and derision in our Breed than any single person I can think of. Even more sickening is McNealy’s influence with the current DPCA Board of Directors, especially with Burke, who’s judgment over the years has been highly questionable at best.
We need better leadership folks if the sport is going to survive. At the very least we need leadership that can see malicious gossip for what it is, distinguish right from wrong, and connect to what is in the best interest of the Breed and the Sport.

All
And the thing is, Silke NEVER has an issue letting DAR&E know there is a dog in need.
DAR&E is good enough to save dobes, but not good enough for anything else?
As a matter of fact, when Cavalier stopped doing rescue, we helped Silke place their remaining dobe they had in their program and welcomed the foster with open arms.
These people are sick.

I can certainly see where you all would become very frustrated with this noxious harangue over time. Athy and the foks at DAR&E are actually serving our breed by helping hundreds of rescue dogs. This McNealy gang of gossips are like parasites, they waste time and energy on their destructive endless barrage of malice, while producing nothing of value for anyone. With all their destructive and idiotic efforts over the past two years, all McNealy / Cyberdobes have really succeeded in doing is perpetuating derision and securing a felony conviction for Alla McGeary.
Fabulous!
The reason so many people are repulsed by the toxic gossip of Cyberdobes is that their conduct is completely unacceptable in every context: as a society we embrace the rule of law; we understand the difference between right and wrong; we embrace minimal standards of conduct; we obey the laws of our community; and, we admire and respect those among us who work to better our society. McNealy’s / Cyberdobes’ relentless campaign of gossip not only assaults our desire for law and order, it produces nothing of value for anyone.

At the end of the day, DAR&E will continue doing what we do.
Save dobermans.
If these people got their wish and DAR&E vanished, who would take the dobes in need? How many hundreds would die because people just wanted us to go away?
Would Silke pick up the slack? Cheri swoop in and take over, or even Alla come in and rescue? I think not.
Shelters and owners would have zero choice if DAR&E ended, to kill dobes. Thats the true bottom line.
I can assure everyone DAR&E aint gonna be shriveling up and dying. Our membership is strong and hardworking and better than ever. The purging of the idiots such as Getter, Alla, Minnck etc etc. was the absolute best thing that has ever happened to DAR&E. We should have ridded ourselves of them years ago, but as always, we try to play fair.
I am sure Silke will continue to send us info on dobes in need even after being "outted". The mentality with people such is Silke is, DAR&E should continue to do the work, do it as fast as I say, but in the end they want to punish DAR&E because a crazy lady decided she would steal a dog, have "Gopher" send to underground railroad, break the law, be convicted and that all just DAR&E's fault. Puleaseeee.

And if anything really galls me it is Alla saying that she knew she was guilty and expected to be convicted. What am I missing here? And now the powers that be in CyberDobes are upset because of the conviction? It is evident that the players on CD are going to now encourage Alla to appeal or file a lawsuit for libel again DARE and Athy and whoever? Of course. They have no financial responsibility, only Alla does. And if Alla has a brain in her head, she will take her lumps, learn from the experience and move on. Do you think that will happen?
So it is Alla who has cost the State of Virginia the time and money to prosecute her when she knew she would be found guilty. And yet it is the Alla supporters who accuse DARE and Athy of wasting taxpayers money? Excuse me. What part of "I know I'd be found guilty" do people not understand?
