I know everyone has been saving up those doggie candids! Summer is almost upon us, so show YOUR Dog Daze!

I love these photos Brenna. Wahajama and Faith look like they really enjoy each other… and I love the expression you’ve captured of Wah… that face, that sweet gleam in her eye is so, so “Wah.” :)

And Moose and Tungsten look like they are in love… Tungsten’s play bow to her is so telling of who wears the pants in their relationship. No questions it’s Moose. :D

This is one of my favorite photos of Emma. This is from last spring, she was 9 years old. I was forcing her to model a series of those "party collars", she was being paid off with pieces of cheese. Poor girl, the indignity of it all! In any case, this is my wild-eyed redhead in red roses :)

Loved them!! Does indeed look like Bah rules the roost. They all look so happy too.
Athy, gorgeous collar but Emma was probably thinking "the indignity of it all at my age:<G>

Here is a photo of Kyle - the little guy who had some kind of gastritis when he came to us. I've completely transitioned him off the prescription diet to the Natural Choice for Sensitive Stomachs and he is doing great on it. This picture was almost impossible to get - all he wants to do is play, kiss and cavort. It's VERY hard for him to sit still for even two seconds! Doesn't he have a devil-may-care look about him???

Those ears are to die for. He is darling.
He's going to make someone a super nice cuddly boy.

You are exactly right, Elaine, she is the best of all worlds, a real joy!
Come to think of it, we had no trick or treaters on Halloween, maybe because
she was looking so serious guarding her pumpkin and scarecrow......:D

SuzyQ follows Amelia everywhere in the yard.

Andy… your little girl Amelia has grown so much… she’s lovely… and it sure looks like she has a mind of her own. Now where could she have gotten that from? :D

What was in the thought bubble to the viewers left, and who else was in the photo?

I was actually going to give a thought to SuzyQ.....my mind went blank and I was tooo lazy to remove it on photobucket. No one else in the photo I promise. I wouldn't ruin a photo with me in it.

You probably noticed that Suzy Q is mirroring Amelia’s movement perfectly… the same foot lifted the same way. They could be doing one of those dog dancing routines. SuzyQ’s thought could be related to that… or to the intense look of concentration on Amelia’s sweet little face.

When my daughter Steff was about Amelia’s age she would try to stack and move one of our Giant Schnauzers - Jackie (Ch. Skansen’s Phascinating Rhythm). Jackie was a tub-o-lard on four paws, who had been trained to perfection by Vicky Fillinger (now Seiler, who showed and finished her). Jackie came back from being with Vicky so well trained that anyone could handle her. (Heck, I – moi- won a few Breeds with her and even got a Group III on her). Jackie would do anything for a morsel of food. So, she’d go along with what Steff was asking, right up until the food ran out, then she’d just trot off. When she did, Steff would absolutely refuse to let go of the lead. So Jackie would drag Steph around the lawn, outwardly oblivious to the fact that Steff was dangling along behind... kind of like sledding, without the sled. :D

Wish now that I had a photo of Steph and Jackie. Below are some photos from our website http://logresfarm.com/Logres%20In%20The%20Past.htm

Here is Vicky with Jackie (with the wonderful judge Besty Leham);

and then me (white skirt, blue jacket at the front of the line) in the ring with Jackie at Brush Prairie (if you look, that is Marge Brooks in the yellow skirt fourth in line behind me, and Maripi Wooldridge is right behind Marge);

and me with Jackie (in the same outfit) at Bel Vernon (the judge is Bob Hastings)

Thank you for the compliments of our special girl, I have another fun photo from yesterday afternoon, when my friend who has Portuguese Water Dogs stopped by for a play date with her 10 month old male.
