MCKC Catalog Ad

If any of you want to place an ad in our MCKC Show Catalog ... it wouldn't break my heart.

A full page ad (with photo) is $62.50. Our two-day show runs September 15th and 16th. Jane Forsyth is our Show Chairman. The deadline for the ad is Friday… this Friday, as in "the day after tomorrow." I do not need to receive the money before Friday… I will trust your word… and I can submit the ad electronically.

Your ad can simply be a cherished photo and the copy can read “ Best Wishes for a Successful Show"

What will you get for your ad? Nothing really ... except that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you see your dog in print… and that equally warm fuzzy feeling that you get when you've contributed to a non profit organization that does all sorts of good things for dogs. MCKC puts on two All-Breed shows, an Agility Match, we run microchip booths, we sponsor scholarships for vet techs, we run a puppy caravan to take puppies from our shelters down here up to the North East… we do a variety of dog related things for this community. Bottom line, it is simply a nice gesture, $62.50 is cheaper than a Dog News ad... and hits the selected target dead on.

Here is the finished ad.. this is actually two photos combined... in one Ursula looked lovely (but Harry was not so spiffy looking). In the other, Harry was darling... but not Ursula... so I combined the two photos. It took me all day to figure out how to do about two things in Photoshop oy vey!! :rolleyes:... Btw, the ad will run in black and white.

It’s that time of year again… in fact… in a few days it will be “Past that time of year.” :o If any of you have the impulse to put an ad in our Moore County Kennel Club show catalog it would be appreciated. Above are some samples of ads we've done over the years. The catalog is for our September 2010 two-day AKC All Breed dog show. I can’t really say what the return is, except that you get to see a photo of your precious dog in print, in a show catalog that some people keep for years as a reference. The Moore County Kennel Club is a non profit club that donates to many good causes including vet tech scholarships, the War Dogs and the local Canine Animal Clinic… so the money raised from the ads goes to some worthwhile causes. If you want an ad, just email me with ANY digital photo and whatever text you would like, and we will do the ad for you. Full page ads are $62.50 with a photo and $50 without. :)
