I am absolutely horrified that the Philadelphia Eagles have signed Michael Vick.
They do some really stupid stuff, but this takes the cake!!!

I was at work late last night and one of my crew told me about it....he had heard it on a local radio station. He was equally shocked and felt they have made a huge mistake.

All local news and radio stations are running this story at the top of the news. NBC 10's anchors seem dismayed and 93.33 WMMR's disc jockey's didn't hold back, bless their hearts.

With Chase Utley(Phillies) and his wife doing so much for abused and shelter animals, we have this absolute piece of crap in our midst.
I do hope Philly lives up to it's unfriendly and nasty reputation in regards to this criminal.

He has far from paid for what he has done and should have been banned for life from the NFL just for a start.

As much as I am not a big fan of PETA, there is a new chapter open in Philly.
It should be interesting at the press conference today and once they find out his address......

Hopefully he has learned his lesson and will some how give back. I don't know how he will ever make up for his actions but extreme effort would be a start.

Give me a break!
There is no forgiving this piece of crap.
Low life like this does not change.
I am disgusted by anyone who would give it a "second chance."
Perhaps why Reid's off spring are drug addicts and criminals themselves. Too many second chances for humans that have a serious character flaws.

Hey I am with ya Cheryl.....The fact is that Philly signed him. Hopefully he will give back to the community although it will not change the fact he is a piece of shit.

I didn't care for him before it was obvious he abused dogs. Remember when he flipped off the fans at Atlanta? That showed what a class act he is.

You are all missing something here:

Its all about business in this world.

Both in this sport and ours.

Money talks and bull shit walks.

Its a simple as that.

I am not blind to the sports world and money. I spent my life in some sort of sport. At the level that I was expected to achieve and compete at, I was also expect to do what it took to get there.
So, I get it.....he will put the asses in the seats. At what cost though?

The city and area in general is out of control about this. I am pleased ot see that it isn't being ignored by the majority. Those who accept it as a good thing, are of the same cut of cloth.

You know what Andy? I didn't remember the Atlanta thing until you reminded me.
The guy is an ass.

Sadly, it took me a long time to realize how money works in all things. It is not just sports.

So now I play a different tune than I have. It is a chess game. I am honest but I am closely watching the plays.

Suprized Oakland didn't pick him up: IIRC they were one of the first teams to mention him coming back after his sentance.

As far as I'm concerned he should spend the rest of his life in Maricopa County's lockup, wearing pink

Early this morning out in front off a restraunt in VA. Beach, one of Vick's dog fighting friends shot someone. Vick was present.

Now I know ALL OF YOU are stunned that his paragon of absolute virtue was even within a 100 mile of this incident!! Ya, right!

So when I heard that the NFL and the Eagles are revisiting their relationship with this piece of crap...I nearly wept.

He has violated the terms of his probation (again, shocking) and therefore the terms of his contract with the Team.
It was only a matter of time......

Let's hope the NFL and Eagles see what he is and end their contract with him.

Oh Cheryl,
You and Bob must be completely devastated by this totally unexpected and shocking news. :(:(:(:( As always, I’m sure that Vick is merely an innocent victim, in the wrong place, at the wrong time, doing the wrong thing. :( The poor bastard, when will it ever end for Michael? Like you, my heart bleeds. Maybe we can all pass the plate for his defense fund. :(

Howard Eskin was pretty darn candid about this issue with Vick tonight on the NBC affiliate here in Philly. I am looking forward to his update late this pm. He claims to have more info.

Some details have come out that the person shot was the person who turned States on Vick and the rest of the trash involved.

It is believed the NFL is going to summon Vick to NY for a meeting. One can only hope they end this miserable bastard's return to the sport.

He was never sorry, he never changed. People can't change ingrained character flaws.
