I have kept quiet for awhile, but Tabitha is preggo! She should be due anytime next week. She is miserably pregnant at the moment. Poor girl. She can't jump onto to the bed now and soon she will not make onto the couch.
She will get her x-ray Thursday. This is solely to help determine if she is going to need a c-section. If she has only one puppy in either uterine horn we're definitely screwed. So were hoping for 4 evenly distributed puppies.

Puppy breath, puppy bellies full o milk, puppies crawling around everywhere, puppies bumping into mama wanting mo milk.... Mmmm, puppies.
Then it becomes puppy teeth biting everything in site, puppy poops just after you've cleaned up for the umpteenth time that day... grr, puppies.
Then they get big enough to go outside & meet leaves, and grass, and trees... mmm, puppies.
Best of luck! Pix or it didn't happen!!! :D

Tabitha is in labor right now. I should have known she was gonna do it early in the morning. There is only one puppy in there. I am going to give a little bit longer before I get concerned. She should deliver it ok.

Tabitha is getting a c-section right now. She is also getting spayed. The puppy is breech and is stuck. Right now we need a miracle.

The puppy survived. It's a girl. Tabitha is doing well. The vet tech suffered a wound as Tabitha was coming out of anesthesia. Sorry Donna! I will take photos in the coming days.

No, we aren't keeping her......at least not at our house.
We will probably let my parents have her if she is exceptional. We will show her and take care of the breeding aspect if it arises. My parents already have a TFT and I think she needs buddy.:D
If she is pet quality then she will sold to a great home.
But, then again I said we weren't keeping SuzieQ.....still waiting on that great home to come. SuzieQ would make a great brood bitch for us I think. She is AKC ptd. but nothing spectacular/out of this world except for her head. I love her head. She has a good pedigree and her littermate is a Ch. But I think she would do fantastic in the agility ring or flyball. So if the right home were to come around interested in these areas I would have to let her go.
Lyla is linebred on Ch. SHIV DJAZZ PLATINUM CROWN BARON, number 2 TFT 2003 top twenty, #4 2004 top twenty. Lyla's sire is out of Ch. Shivley's Miss VIP who was in the top twenty 3 years in a row. #3 in '06 I think.

Who is her sire? Can you post or do you have a link to her pedigree?

No I don't have a link. Nor did I bother getting a copy from Marsha....so I forget the sire's reg name. He is sired by Lance who is SuzieQ's sire. I know the lines well. I could come up with a pedigree or just wait until lyla's is available.
Elaine, are you interested in a TFT or somethin?

Andy, I'm pretty sure that Elaine DOES want a TFT. She ran out of bait at the last show...LOL;) and you don't even need to wind up a TFT or throw it or anything! kinda like housebroken squirrels from what my dogs have told me! Actually, i think it's cool to learn pedigrees from other breeds. Your lil dogbaby Lila is adorable! it must be soooo nice to have a dog you can crate in a lunchbox! I am sooo jealous! Hope the momma dog is still doing well. Pups are great, but NEVER as wonderful as the adult we have come to love! Congrats!

No No No Brenna, you have it backwards. The Dobermans are bait for the TFTs. :D These little shits will put any Dobe in its place. It's funny to watch big "ferocious" Dobermans being attacked by five pounds of dynomite. I have witnessed TFTs hanging from each cheek of Eva and Joy and there was not a thing they could do about it. The Dobes get this look on their face that says, "There's nothing I can do! Hopefully they will just go away!" You see, Tabitha and SuzieQ stick together. Joy and Eva just look at each other and say, "You're on you own, sorry."
I must admit the small litters are nice and the small whelping crate takes up no space. Now this would be a piece of cake if only Mama's milk didn't dry up.

No… not at all. I was curious about the breed, but mostly just making conversation. I haven’t a clue about the TFT Breed Standard or what a good one is supposed to look like. I was just mildly curious, much like if I meet someone with a Warmblood (Sport Horse) I’m likely to ask about the bloodlines… it’s an interest… in general…but nothing specific. :)
