New DPCA President

We have a new DPCA President, Ms. Jan Van Wormer. Thank god the club survived the arrogance and ignorance of the Burke/McNealy leadership, which has to have been the most divisive in club history, pushing personal vendettas and aberrations of good judgment to the breaking point. The treatment of people like Ann Lanier was inexcusable (Ann described him as a bully and a thug), but I think Burke appearing to testify for Alla McGeary at her trail was a hallmark of his flawed judgment. Thank god his testimony was ruled irrelevant … but on what planet would dog owners want the President of the DPCA testifying on behalf of the accused that a rescue dog was essentially worthless? Good riddance Mr. Burke, may your toxic impact on our club fade fast. Maybe now the club can go forward in a positive direction, united, for the benifit of the Doberman Breed.

It is the first step in regaining our national club. Jan and Mimi are a good start with sanity and level headed people. No one should get complacent though, it is just a start. You don't think for one moment that McNealy is going to take this quietly. That group will be working for next years elections to make it difficult for them. There are those out there that think that faction walks on water......Everything they say is true and factual....That the behind the scenes stuff they tried to pull at election time, that most don't know about, was just fine..... I only hope that people can see what they tried to pull and put them where they belong.....

This is a nice new change for our club and I personally hope it keeps evolving in the right direction.....

My computer is acting up and I hope this isn't being sent a lot of times.
